Many of us were taught it’s courteous to say “I’m sorry,” and it is—but not all of the time. Apologising at work should be approached a little differently. Believe it or not, people can actually develop a habit (a bad one!) of over-apologising in the office. If you’re too liberal with the phrase, you could come off as insecure, unsure, and overly sensitive. Not exactly the vibe you want to be giving off.
